TNA Challenge Cup with $20,000

A LAN event that will be held in Kazan City, the capital of the Russian republic Tatarstan, has been announced, with ten teams to attend and $20,000 up for grabs.

TNA Challenge Cup aims to find the best teams from Tatarstan, Belarus, and Azerbaijan and add a team from Europe+CIS to compete at a ten-team LAN event on November 3-5.

CyberFocus' Nemiga are one of the favorites for a Belarussian spot

The three main regions will feature national qualifiers, while the last slot will be filled through a qualifier open to teams from both Europe and CIS. The first, open portion will be hosted by FACEIT, with the two best open qualifier teams joining six invited ones in the closed qualifier. The best team from the closed qualifier will earn a spot at the LAN, with the whole qualification process being streamed by StarLadder.

TatNeft Arena in Kazan City will play host to the event, with tournaments in DotA 2 and World of Tanks happening alongside the CS:GO competition. 

The prize pool for CS:GO will be distributed in the following way.

1. $10,000
2. $6,000
3. $2,500
4. $1,500

Additional to the prize pool, the costs of lodging and travel, as well as obtaining visas, will be covered by the tournament organizers.
